摘要

Various contents of nano SiO2 were introduced into the poly (vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) matrix to prepare polymer membranes. Morphologies and ion conductivities of the as-prepared membranes were investigated by scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and AC impedance technique. Furthermore, the charge-discharge performances of the membranes being assembled to batteries were evaluated. Compared with the others, the membrane with the addition of 10wt. % SiO2 exhibits higher conductivity, namely, approximately 1×10∼3 S·cm -1 at room temperature. The batteries assembled with the membranes filled with nano SiO2 show better cycleability than the sample without nano SiO2, which encounters a short circuit after 5th cycle. As a result, the addition of nano SiO2 is confirmed as a feasible method to improve both mechanical strength and electrochemical performance of the polymer membranes for lithium ion batteries.
