摘要
The sensing arm of a fiber optical Mach-Zehnder Interferometer is sticked on composite beams to detect the delamination in the beams. We analyse the possibility and the theory results by finite element method first. Then the experiment results are discussed which show the agreement with the theory results. The delamination can be detected when the beam is continuously supported, and can't be detected when the beam is simply supported. This technique is also fit for the debonding of repaired composite.
