摘要
In this work, a method based on a modified analytical model for the calculation of the statistics of intensity of Rayleigh backscattering of non-ideal light source is presented. Analytical deductions are used to derive the probability density function (PDF). With proper numerical verifications, the results have exhibited the evolution of the PDF in different system states. Moreover, the significance and the potential application of the proposed model are drawn effectively.
