abstract = "This paper addresses the design of an optimal dynamic quantizer and stability of the dynamic quantized system with packet dropout and communication delay. A dynamic quantizer, which is able to minimize the quantized output error, is designed for the system with networked packet dropout and communication delay. By the so-called lifting method, the system is transformed into a switched system. Mean square stability of the dynamic quantized system is then considered, and a sufficient condition for stability is established based on Lyapunov approach. A numerical simulation is finally given to support the theory.",
