摘要
The effects of spatial location on muhisensory audiovisual integration were investigated using behavioural and event-related potential (ERP) measurements. The behavioral results showed that responses to audiovisual stimuli presented at a center location were faster and more accurate than those presented at peripheral locations. The ERP results showed the audiovisual integration was 20 ms earlier when stimuli were presented on center location than that when stimuli were presented on left or right location at occipital area around 340 to 400 ms. Our results suggest that bimodal audiovisual integration depends on the spatial location of audiovisual stimuli.
