摘要
A spectrum-flattened two-stage amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) fibre source is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The source is structured by an erbium-doped fibre simultaneously pumped by a 980nm laser and a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) source. In the wavelength range of 1526-1563nm, a spectrum ripple of ±0.5dB and an average power density of -14dBm/0.1nm are achieved.
