Simulation study of the effect of the head structure on fragmentation dispersion of a shrapnel combat head

摘要

The study of new combat head structure is of great significance to the anti-missile warhead, using a typical shrapnel combat head structure as the background, a simulation analysis was conducted using a flat head structure and an isosceles trapezoidal cross-section head structure to study the effects of the two types of shrapnel head structures on shrapnel fragmentation. Computer-aided software LS-DYNA was used to simulate the whole process of the explosive drive of the combat section. The simulation results show that the isosceles trapezoidal head structure can significantly increase the dispersion velocity and dispersion angle of the prefabricated fragment, and significantly increase the axial blockage area of the prefabricated fragment, which greatly enhances the axial force of the combat section of the shrapnel. After simulation analysis, it can be seen that the isosceles trapezoidal head structure is more effective in destroying the warhead, which can provide reference for the design of anti-missile warheads.
