摘要

The second-sphere hydrogen-bonding interaction of one out of three tris(diamino-bipyridine)iron complexes, [Fe1(DABP)3] 2+, in the crystallographic asymmetric unit with nitrophenolate leads to a cavity created by the nitrophenolate panels whose space is filled through self-inclusion of a crystallographically different [Fe2(DABP) 3]2+-cation (DABP = 5,5′-diamino-2,2′- bipyridine).
