摘要

As we know, the transformation-based cloak requires materials which prescribe infinitesimal and infinite values for material EM parameters. This kind of material is difficult to be realized in the practical applications. In order to achieve a cloak with more plausible materials, we design imperfect cloaks adopting nonsingular mapping function. After discretizing the cloak to stepwise homogeneous anisotropic shells, each shell is reconstructed by using concentric homogeneous isotropic layers of dielectrics. In this paper, only one bi-layered isotropic composite is used to replace each anisotropic layer. The effect of this perturbation is studied by examining the scattering from the quasi-cloaks. Simulations show that properly designed quasi-cloaks can mimic the compressing target in a broad frequency band under the aforementioned perturbation, even when the shell is further forced to be non-electric.
