摘要

The strong time-varying dynamic load, irregular and unpredictable impact of the propeller lead to the shaft inclination and uncertain contact, which worsen the stability of propulsion system. The paper studies the rotor dynamics of the system with bi-misaligned effect on the novel bearing lubricated by water. Researches indicate that misalignment has the stiffness-hardening effect on the main stiffness coefficient. It has stiffness-weakening effect on the cross-stiffness coefficient. Horizontal inclination has significant impact on the vibration phase of the shaft while vertical inclination influences the amplitude remarkably. The impact of bi-directional bias on vibration is combination of horizontal and vertical influences. The bi-direction inclination balances the effect of unidirectional vibrations. Results provide solid foundation for cutting-edge exploration and optimum design for such bearing systems.
