摘要

With the three-phase full-bridge DC-AC inverter as the basic model, AAV (Active Area Vector) analysis is presented by explaining the essence of switching pulse, with which the difference, as well as the relation, between SVM (Space Vector Modulation) and SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) are discussed, and the improvements are introduced to increase DC usage of SPWM and decrease computation load of SVM. Simulations and experiments verify its applicability to SPWM and SVM. Compared with traditional SVM, AAV-SVM avoids the nonlinear computation of sinusoid function, resulting in shorter minimum sampling cycle and bigger system transmission bandwidth.
