Research on Control Strategy to Improve Power Angle Stability of New Energy Power System

摘要

As the proportion of new energy installed capacity in the power system continues to increase, the influence of new energy power generation on the stability of the power system is also more prominent. At present, most new energy units use current inner loops, so that they do not participate in the oscillation of the power Angle. However, since it does not have moment of inertia, it will reduce the equivalent inertia of the system as a whole after being connected to the system, thereby weakening the power angle stability of the system. Therefore, it is very needful to improve the power angle stability of the power system by improving the control strategy of the new energy unit. In this work, by adjusting the output of new energy units during the fault period, partly offset the drop in external power due to short-circuit faults, and reduce the difference between thermal power mechanical power and electromagnetic power, thereby improving the power angle stability of the system. This work not only reveals its mechanism through theoretical analysis, but also the effectiveness of this method is verified by simulation.
