摘要
Considered the mechanical friction and impact, a mathematical model for the relationship between temperature rise and the impact velocity of depleted uranium alloys was established, and the critical burning speeds and the temperature changes of U-0.75%Ti and U-10%Sn alloys with the impact velocity were obtained. By the firing test and high-speed photographic analysis, the impact effect phenomena of U-0.75%Ti and U-10%Sn alloys at a high speed of 700 m/s were compared, and the differences of penetration ability, breaking performance and combustion reaction rate between two typical depleted uranium alloys were obtained. The results show that U-0.75%Ti alloy has better ballistic performance and penetration ability and U-10%Sn alloy can be used as fragmentation element, which can produce a better penetration and explosion effects. The established model and research method can be applied to the dynamic mechanical properties research of other depleted uranium alloys.
