Queuing network modeling of brain-controlled vehicles

摘要

In this paper, we develop a model of braincontrolled vehicles. This model includes an extended driver model based on the Queuing-network cognitive architecture, a brain-computer interface (BCI) model representing the performance of the BCI system that can issue three classes of direction control commands, an interface model converting the actual steering command from the BCI system to the steering angle, and vehicle model. Pilot experimental results in a driving simulator show that the performance of the proposed model is close to that of real drivers by using the BCI to control a vehicle when the driver has a relatively high accuracy of BCI system. The proposed model can not only help understand the behavior of brain-controlled vehicles, but also help design brain-controlled vehicles.
