摘要
The properties of waterborne polyurethane modified by dibromoneopentyl glycol (DBNPG) have been studied. We have tested the high temperature, low temperature and mechanical stability of the modified and unmodified waterborne polyurethane respectively. Transmission electron microscopy was utilized to observe the morphology of the waterborne polyurethane dispersion particles. The water absorption, static contact angle, mechanical properties of their membranes have been measured. The results show that the modified polyurethane possesses better performances in water absorption and static contact angle within the same DMPA content, the tensile strength increases and the elongation at break decreases with increasing content of DBNPG. Rheological test shows both modified and unmodified waterborne polyurethane belongs to Newtonia fluid.
