摘要
In this paper, we develop tunable reflection-type broadband acoustic coding metasurfaces (BACMs) using a bottom-up topology optimization method. These metasurfaces enable flexible configuration switching between the antiphase coding units of “0” and “1” across a wide frequency range through electromagnetic regulation. By introducing a customized dispersion design, the optimized structure exhibits broadband properties. The optimized coding units consist of irregular air channels and connected air cavities. The coding bits of “0” and “1” show a constant opposite phase difference over a wide frequency range through the coupling resonances. By adjusting the electromagnets, arbitrary coding sequences in the BACMs can be rapidly reconstructed. We numerically and experimentally demonstrate the acoustic focusing and splitting properties within the frequency range of 2.2 kHz–4.4 kHz.
