T1 - Preparation and characterization of hexaalkylguanidinium NTO energetic salts

N2 - Four kinds of hexaalkylguanidinium 3-Nitro-1, 2, 4-triazole5-one (C n-NTO, n=2, 3, 4, 5) energetic ionic compounds were synthesized. Their structures were identified by IR, 1HNMR, and their density, solubility, thermal properties were studied. The results show that NTO hexaalkylguanidinium ionic salts could dissolve in most of organic solvents. The maximum decomposition temperature is about 250°C. In the second heating process of DSC, the NTO ionic salts experienced four kinds of phases, i.e. glassy, supercooled state, crystalline solid and liquid.
