N2 - The molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) for bovine hemoglobin (BHb) had been synthesized by the hydrogel imprinting technology, in which acrylamide was chosen as monomer and N, N′-methylene bisacrylamide as crosslinker. The preparation conditions were optimized by investigating the effect of the concentrations of the monomer and crosslinker on the adsorption properties. The adsorption binding experiment was carried out to investigate the selectivity of the MIP. It was clearly demonstrated that the MIPs prepared were BHb-specific. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis of the polymer was also taken to characterize the surface morphology of the MIPs. It was shown that the surface of gel beads had a large quantity of macropores, which were helpful to discriminate the protein template. The results showed that the method established owns potential promises.
