N2 - High entropy alloys form a playground at the center of multicomponent alloy phase-diagrams, where overall structural simplicity and extreme compositional complexity are obtained simultaneously. Investigating their featured physical properties, mostly originated from extensive atomic-level disorders, is not only a path to achieve functionality, but crucial for in-depth understanding of the disorders to smartly improve other aspects of alloy properties. Here we review the progress on understanding the physical properties of high entropy alloys, mainly from the magnetic, electrical, and thermal perspectives. The efforts on unveiling the compositional dependence and the connection between disorders and properties are the focus of this work. The comparisons with conventional alloys, as well as their current and prospective functional applications are also briefly discussed.
