摘要
A multi-phase field model is implemented to simulate the microstructure evolution and carbon diffusion of the Fe-C peritectic solidification. Based on the ferrite phase dendritic structure and the initial carbon distribution, austenite phase first nucleates at the tips of the ferrite phase dendrites, and then changes the initial phase distribution and carbon distribution mainly through the solidification of austenite and peritectic transformation. Both simulation and experiment clarify the interaction of ferrite phase, austenite phase and liquid phase controlled by carbon diffusion. The present study contributes to the understanding of formation mechanism of microscopic morphology and micro-segregation.
