abstract = "This paper presents a sparseness design method based on the snake optimizer (SO) for circular array beamforming. Detailed numerical simulations are carried out to validate the effectiveness of the sparseness design method and circular sparse array performance. Utilizing the method can significantly reduce the array elements meanwhile suppressing the maximum sidelobe level. Moreover, the SO based design method exhibits superiority to other popular methods.",
