摘要

Time-frequency transformation is a powerful tool to analyze and represent non-stationary stochastic signals, especially for the spectrum changed with time. And under the stochastic natural excitation on operational status, the responses of time-varying structure are always non-stationary stochastic process. Therefore, directly, it is conceivable and potential to identify the modal parameter of time-varying structure with available time-frequency approaches. This work studies the contents that are correlative with time-frequency analysis, compares the approaches of time-frequency representation for modal parameter identification, and based on the time-frequency plot, develops a nonlinear weighted least square estimation to identify the main modal parameters for timevarying structure through separating each frequency ridge from the whole time-frequency representation plot. Furthermore, this method is validated by a simulated time-varying spring-mass system under an assumed random excitation.
