abstract = "In this paper, we consider the problem of the boundary stabilization of a nonlocal wave equation with time delay. First, an observer system is designed to estimate the state variable on the time interval [0, t-tau] when the observation is available. We introduce the state feedback controller to make exponential stability for the closed-loop system. Based on the estimated state variable, the output feedback stabilizing controller by backstepping method is presented and the closed-loop system is shown to be exponentially stable. Numerical simulations is presented to illustrate the effect of the stabilizing controller.",
