Optimization of diesel injection strategies at plateau with genetic algorithm and study of penalty parameters

摘要

In order to recover the power of turbocharged diesel engine at plateau, a method that optimizing the injection strategies with genetic algorithm was carried out. Based on diesel performance simulation model, the optimization model of diesel injection strategy working at plateau was set up. The penalty function was designed which is used to evaluate the adaptability of chromosome in genetic algorithm. The quantity of penalty parameters was decreased from 4 to 2, based on the impact principles of fuel injection parameters on surge margin, turbo speed and turbine inlet temperature. The methods to determine the penalty parameters were presented, and the influence law of penalty parameters on population distribution was investigated. The results illustrate that the rate power improves by 21% compared with the original and reaches 89.5% of the plain level, and brake specific fuel consumption declines by 9.6% compared with original, at 4 km.
