N2 - In Chap. 4, the time-domain implementation of a broadband beamformer is presented. It is based on a real-valued filter-and-sum structure, in which the output of each sensor are filtered using an FIR filter and the results are summed to obtain the beamformer output. The FIR-based time-domain beamformer are designed by separately designing the subband beamformers for each frequency bin and the FIR filters corresponding to each sensor.
