摘要

In order to study the formation and reaction behavior of reactive material jet (RMJ) formed by PTFE/Al reactive material liner shaped charge, a unified numerical algorithm was developed based on a theoretical model. The algorithm developed which takes the temperature rise caused by mechanical compression as the ignition criterion was used to simulate the influence of cone angle and wall thickness of reactive liner on jet formation and reaction behavior. Simulation results showed that the detonation load forms a temperature distribution in the jet, resulting in chemical reaction first began in the neck part then in the slug part. Increasing cone angle could reduce the velocity gradient and improve the reaction capacity of RMJ. Overlarge liner thickness would impair the penetration and reaction capacity of RMJ. Small liner thickness would increase the reaction rate of reactive material, resulting in insufficient penetration capacity of RMJ.
