Numerical simulations of the detonation of aluminized explosives

摘要

A detonation model of aluminized explosives was developed. 2D numerical simulations for 25 mm and 50 mm cylinder tests were conducted. The coefficients of JWL equations of state and the reaction rate of the aluminized explosives were determined. To check the validity of the detonation model of aluminized explosives and the correlation coefficients, numerical simulations of the metal plate acceleration tests were conducted. The calculation results agree well with the experimental results. The reactions of aluminum and the influences of the charge conditions on the explosive detonation performances were analyzed. The results show that most of the aluminum content reacts with the detonation products in the later part of detonation.
