Numerical simulation of the effect of combustion characteristics of main charges on the output shock of a typical igniter

摘要

Numerical simulations for the output pressure and the shock response were performed using the hydrocode MSC.DYTRAN to analyze the effect of the combustion characteristics of main charges on the output shock of a typical igniter. The results are in good agreement with the experimental results. Numerical simulations were performed by changing the type of main charges. The results show that the differences in the gas production capacity of main charges have a greater effect on the output shock of the igniter than the reaction rate.
