abstract = "In this paper, based on the nonlinear vibration theory, the vibration characteristics of geislinger coupling are analyzed, and nonlinear mechanics model is obtained. By means of using multiple-scale method, the differential equations of vibration characteristics are solved and the dynamic characteristic curves are obtained. For obtaining exact dynamic response, the torsional vibration test of coupling is performed by applying sine signal excitation. Furthermore nonlinear parameter identification is performed and theoretical study results are compared with testing results. The results shows that the mechanics model established by theoretical study can express well torsional vibration characteristics of the coupling, and give perfectly reference for the more studying.",
