Multi-order active disturbance rejection control for a flexible servo system

摘要

This paper proposes a multi-order active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) algorithm in a two-inertia servo system, where oscillation and instability problems often appear. Firstly, a mathematical model of the two-inertia plant is constructed. Multi-order ADRC strategies are presented to tackle the problem. Then, the strategies of different orders are applied in the system and analyzed via simulations and experiments. The results show that multi-order ADRCs are effective to cure the problem of resonance, among which the full-order ADRC has the highest performance to control the load position and extend the closed-loop bandwidth.
