abstract = "Under partially shaded conditions, the P-V characteristics of Photovoltaic (PV) systems have multiple local maxima. In this paper, a new hybrid algorithm based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm and Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm has been proposed with the aim of solving maximum power point tracking problem. Simulation results are provided to show that output power of PV system could be stability controlled near the maximum power point. Meanwhile, compared with the PSO algorithm and DE algorithm, the hybrid tracking algorithm requires a much shorter time to reach the global maximum power point.",
