摘要
The dense false target interference will severely influence the multi-channel radar detection performance, because it can produce multiple interference spikes in the range direction after pulse compression. In order to solve this problem, a main lobe dense false target interference suppression method based on AMUSE is proposed in this paper. In the proposed method the angles of the interference and target echo in radar received signal are firstly estimated by sub-array MUSIC. Then based on eigen decomposition, radar received signal is pre-whitened for the next step of blind signal separation. In the following, the separation matrix is constructed based on the second-order statistics of the whitening signal. Because dense false target interference and target echo are separated by AMUSE, the suppression of the dense false target interference can be achieved. Through the simulation, it is verified that the proposed method can effectively suppress main lobe dense false target interference and improve radar detection performance.
