Low-sidelobe wideband beamforming based on space-time structure

摘要

A new low-sidelobe beamforming algorithm based on space-time adaptive processing, which can be used in project easily, is proposed. Lots of jamming sources of different frequencies and different azimuths are simulated. The peak value of space-time 2-dimension beam pattern accords with the direction of the expected signal, and the low-sidelobes are also formed at different frequencies simultaneously. Otherwise, the space-time 2-dimension weight vector can be obtained with the product of a constant matrix and the steering vectors matrix of expected signals. It is convenient to be used in project for its easiness to calculate. The proposed algorithm is more efficient to suppress interference and noise. The simulation results show the effectiveness and stability of the method.
