N2 - Affected by terrain limitation, energy consumption and computation complexity, it is difficult for wireless sensor networks to achieve self-localization in GPS-denied environment. In order to locate sensor nodes in engineering, a localization platform of wireless sensor network is designed and developed. As the control chip of localization platform, CC2530 is used to collect location-related and physical information of all sensors by wireless transmission of ZigBee. Additionally, we design and develop a localization software of wireless sensor network. In the software, a two-dimensional and three-dimensional cooperative localization method is proposed and implemented to locate sensors practically. The system can also realize diverse functions such as localization result display, historical data query and network topology visualization. Finally, the platform has been verified in effectiveness and efficiency. Its design and development promote wireless sensor network technology and provide good reference for engineering.
