N2 - With the development of laser technology, the semiconductor laser sensors have been widely used in proximity fuze. Four kinds of ranging principle, such as geometry intercept ranging, range gating technology, phase laser proximity and pseudorandom code laser detection are analyzed. The principle, the characteristics and the limitations are compared for the different ranging modes in laser fuze. Valuable conclusions are drawn for the application and selection of laser fuze.
