摘要

A projected infrared marker method is proposed for the large-area indoor augmented reality registration. An infrared projector is designed to accompany the infrared lasers as infrared marker generator. The camera system consists of two cameras. One is used to capture the infrared image with an infrared filter and another is used to gain the real scene. The method for simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) can be used in this situation. By analyzing the infrared image, from an initial marker, other markers which are projected on the walls or ceiling can be recognized and tracked to make up a map. From the features, the pose of scene camera can be ascertained by solving the extended Kalman filtering problem and the registration can be completed further. Experimental result demonstrates that the proposed system meets the requirements of accuracy for real-time tracking.
