摘要

The surface-modified Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared using chemical method. The size and shape distribution of nanoparticles were studied by transmission electron microscopy. Lubricating properties of Fe3O4 nanoparticles as lubricating oil additives were investigated in the forward cold extrusion of LY12 using an electron omnipotence tester. The experimental results indicate that compared with the lubricating effect of the traditional method of 'silicon-fluoration and soapification', the lubricating oils added Fe3O4 nanoparticles can lead to the reduction of the surface roughness of the cold-extruded workpiece, and compared with the lubricating effect of micron-size graphite powder as lubricating oil additive, Fe3O4 nanoparticles can improve the surface finish of the cold-extruded workpiece, and reduce cold-extruded force.
