Improved bistatic SAR imaging algorithm based on numerically computed transfer functions

摘要

Seeing that the strip mode of bistatic SAR which the platforms of transmitters and receivers are flying parallel at a constant speed, an improved bistatic SAR imaging algorithm is proposed. The 2-D transfer function of the bistatic SAR is obtained. Azimuth position distortion along range existing in the original alogrithm is corrected by mapping from scene coordinate to azimuth-slant distance coordinate. Bistatic SAR date can still be processed by a mono-static SAR processor.The efficaciousness of the proposed algorithm is verified through point target simulations. The proposed algorithm can perform range cell migration correction accurately without any interpolation, so it is suitable for fast parallel processing.
