Implementation of an optimum algorithm for structural reliability analysis based on FEM

摘要

In order to analyse the structural reliability by stochastic finite element method rapidly and efficiently, a method combined with finite element method and gradient optimum algorithm based on ANSYS is presented when referring to the geometric interpretation of structural reliability index. ANSYS-based development is adopted to implement it. Results of an example demonstrate that it requires fewer FE calculations with this method compared with the design point method and Monte-Carlo simulation, achieving satisfactory accuracy.
