N2 - This paper focuses on gamma camera motion parameters estimation applied in accurate radioactive source image reconstruction. Compared with traditional experimental and medical detection scenarios, the practical application scene of a radioactive source detector is more complex, where the detector's motion is unknown and cannot be directly measured by fixed devices such as trivial encoders. So we used a binocular camera as an auxiliary tool to indirectly estimate motion parameters, whereas this method also brings about the problem of cumulative error. Therefore, we proposed an optimization algorithm to minimize the cumulative error in three steps. The experimental results show that the cumulative error of motion parameters can be greatly reduced. Moreover, It can be confirmed that the binocular camera can be conveniently used as an aid in accurate radioactive source reconstruction, especially if no fixed measurement hardware is provided.
