Fuzzy PID Motor Speed Controller for 2 Shifts-AMT System of Electrical Vehicles

摘要

A permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control strategy based on auto tuning fuzzy PID control method is presented in this paper to make a more comfortable shifting process instead of traditional PID method used most widely in speed synchronization phase. PID control method is applied on speed synchronization. Meanwhile, fuzzy control method is used to adjust PID control coefficients based on the speed deviation and its change rate where several fuzzy control rules are designed to reduce the shifting shocks and shorten shifting time, combining with the engineering practice as well. The simulation model has been set up on MATLAB/Stateflow platform. The above algorithm is tested in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) driving condition and speed difference condition. Results shows that the provided algorithm could significantly decrease the rotating speed fluctuation of PMSM motor and has a good speed control effect. This algorithm is also tested on real test bench. On average, the shifting time is approximate 0.8 s. The experiments valid the proposed algorithm.
