摘要

The designed synthesis of inorganic materials with desired structures and properties has become one of the frontier research subjects of inorganic synthesis and preparative chemistry. However, the targeted synthesis of inorganic materials remains a great challenge due to their uncertain formation mechanism and the unclear synthesis-structure-property relationship. Despite this, many efforts have been devoted to the rational synthesis of specific inorganic materials in a more rational way. In this chapter, the designed synthesis of inorganic crystalline porous materials will be discussed, which includes the structural design methods of zeolitic inorganic porous materials with predefined pore geometries, structural building units (SBUs) and double-layer sheets, the evaluation criteria for the chemical feasibility of zeolite structures, as well as the synthetic strategies toward the rational synthesis of inorganic porous crystalline materials. Finally, the future perspective on the tailor-made synthesis of desired inorganic porous crystalline materials will be described.
