摘要
The fragment formation behavior of multi-point initiation dual-mode shaped charge is presented by using AUTODYN-3D code simulations. The effects of liner materials, wall thickness and curvature radius on its fragmentation behavior are also obtained. The numerical results show that the detonation wave superposition and strong stress concentration on the metal liner surface could be produced by a multi-point initiation of shaped charge, resulting in a cutting-like fragmentation behavior of liner materials along the stress concentration zone, and forming the same number of regular lethal fragments as that of initiation points. Moreover, the further simulations show that the fragmentation behavior of metal liner strongly depends on its materials and configuration. For a shaped charge with steel liner, the high lethal fragments could be achieved while a liner thickness of 0.04 to 0.05 charge diameters and a liner curvature radius of 0.8 to 1.0 charge diameters are selected.
