N2 - To ensure the security of the footbridge, its sympathetic vibration character needs usually to be controled. In this paper, the dynamic vibration model is built with concentrated load method, finite element method is used for qualitative analysis of the footbridge. By the bridge mode simulation the relationships between the sympathetic vibration and the forced vibration are analyzed, the best measuring points are selected for measurement and validation. The results are shown that the presented model and method are efficiently, the test method is available. The comfort and security recommendations of the bridge are proposed.
