Fast three-dimension imaging simulation based on scattering center model

摘要

This paper presents an approach for fast three-dimension (3D) imaging simulation by using scattering center (SC) model. It is found that distributed scattering centers (DSC) and sliding scattering centers (SSC) are important characteristics of 3D images, and the accuracy of these SCs determines the accuracy of 3D imaging simulation. In this work, the models of DSC and SSC are built according to the real geometry of the target to assure the accuracy of 3D image simulation. In order to verify the feasibility of this approach, the 3D imaging result of a tank simulated by the SC models is compared with that obtained by high-frequency method, and results show good agreement in 3D image signatures and this method is of higher simulation efficiency than the high frequency method in terms of computation time and memory consumption.
