Fast Coherent Integration and Parameter Estimation Algorithm for Maneuvering Targets

摘要

The range migration (RM) and Doppler frequency migration (DFM) caused by the target motion would degrade the coherent integration performance significantly. To address this problem, a fast coherent integration and parameter estimation algorithm based on time reversing transform (TRT), dechrip process (DP) and Radon-Fourier transform (RFT), i.e., TRT-DP-RFT, is proposed. In this algorithm, TRT is firstly applied to remove the influence of RM. Then, DP is used to compensate the phase fluctuation induced by the target's acceleration and achieve coherent integration. The target's range and acceleration can be estimated by DP. Finally, RFT with estimated range and acceleration is performed to estimate the target's velocity. The proposed method has low computational complexity since it just need to search the velocity dimension. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of TRT-DP-RFT.
