摘要
Factorials design and Latin hypercube sampling design are applied in the high-speed milling experiments of martensitic stainless steel. The characteristics of difficult-to-cut materials in high-speed cutting process are analyzed and a nonlinear mathematics model on the relationship between cutting forces and depth of cut, feed per tooth, cutting velocity is proposed. Experiments indicate that under the high-speed cutting of difficult-to-cut materials condition, the interaction of depth of cut and feed per tooth is one of statistic significant effects on cutting force; the relationships between cutting forces and cutting parameters are nonlinear; the effect of one cutting parameter on cutting force is sensitive to the choice of other cutting parameters.
