摘要
In high-speed cutting condition, cutting velocity from 471 m/min to 2356 m/min, factorials design and uniform design were applied to the high-speed milling experiments of magnesium alloy. The characteristics of this material in high-speed cutting process were analyzed and a nonlinear mathematical model of the relationship between cutting force and depth of cut, feed per tooth, cutting velocity was proposed. Experiments indicate that, under the high-speed cutting condition, the interaction of cutting velocity and feed per tooth is one of statistic significant effects on cutting force; the relationship between cutting force and cutting parameter is nonlinear and the effect of one cutting parameter on cutting force is sensitive to the choice of other cutting parameters.
