摘要
A real-time impulsive technique for the particle sampling was introduced to measure the particulate size-distribution in solid propellant rocket-motors which has the advantages of less sampling time and distortion, being able to sample at different moment in an oscillating process, simplicity in structure and convenience in operation. The experimental results show that (1) the particle size distribution of burned aluminized propellants has a bi-modal or tri-modal profile; (2) as the chamber-pressure increases or decreases, the particle size all gets greater; (3) soot affects the measurement results; (4) the combustion characteristics of propellant also has an influence on the particulate size distribution.
