Experimental studies on broadband constant beamwidth beam forming for circular arrays

Lake-experiment was carried out for a 24-element uniform circular array. Based on the data collected from the experiment, constant beamwidth beams were formed at eight different frequencies covered one-octave frequency band. The great difference between the measured and theoretical array manifold of the circular array shows that the broadband constant beamwidth beam forming method used in that paper has good tolerance.
